Our Director

Christine Allison

Christine Allison has been directing bells for almost 30 years. She started in 1983 with youth, then adults and later formed a chime choir for younger ringers. She was awarded a scholarship and studied with American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. She later became a clinician for handbell workshops and a consultant to church bell choirs. Christine returned to Mount Union College, from which she received her Bachlelor's degree, to teach handbell class/choir and has directed an auditioned community bell choir for a number of years now. She is a member of Handbell Musicians of America.

The Board of A Chorus for a Cause thought is was a great idea for Christine to start Harmony Ringers back in 2011. It is her goal to have Harmony Ringers become the Raleigh Ringers of northern Ohio.
