CHRISTINE ALLISON
MUSICAL DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER
Christine Allison has been directing bells for almost over 30 years. She started in 1983 with youth, then adults and later formed a chime choir for younger ringers. She was awarded a scholarship and studied with American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. She later became a clinician for handbell workshops and a consultant to church bell choirs. Christine returned to Mount Union College, from which she received her Bachlelor's degree, to teach handbell class/choir and has directed an auditioned community bell choir for a number of years now. She is a member of Handbell Musicians of America.
The Board of A Chorus for a Cause thought is was a great idea for Christine to start Harmony Ringers back in 2011. Harmony Ringers is the premier auditioned community handbell choir of Stark County, OH.
